Show Notes

An English major. A Justin Timberlake fan. And a savvy digital marketer and business owner. How does Mack Fogelson get it all done? Her team at Mack Web includes the in-person team at the office as well as virtual team members. As such, they rely on Google Hangouts, Skype, and HipChat to stay connected.

How has Mack’s role changed over the past 11 years? In the beginning, Mack was it. Once she got some clients, she started adding freelancers. Fast forward to today… With a growing business and family, Mack has transitioned into a more focused CEO role for her team of eight, dedicating most of her time to speaking, blogging, and being the Mack Web evangelist. She still works to find ways to be involved in client work without getting “lost in the weeds."

What Are the 3 Apps Mack Can’t Live Without? Reading! She spends at least an hour reading via Pocket, where you can Buffer things for social sharing (these two apps work in tandem for her). She also can’t live without Evernote.
