Adrian Gostick is a global thought leader on workplace strategy and the author of several successful books on employee engagement. The Carrot Principle by Simon & Schuster has been a regular New York Times bestseller, and 24-Carrot Manager has been called a “must read for modern-day managers” by Larry King of CNN. What Does He Do? As a thought leader on workplace strategy, Adrian Gostick keeps busy writing best-selling books every couple years and working with clients. He does all of this from his home in Park City, Utah, where he lives with his wife and son. How Does He Do It? A key aspect of all of this is the unique and complimentary partnership Adrian enjoys with his co-author and business partner Chester Elton. Chester spends a lot of his time on the road speaking and promoting their books. He also often brings back ideas on the next big thing. After vetting the ideas, Adrian starts researching and refining them further. From here a draft emerges which they work together to edit. They also lead the boutique consulting firm The Culture Works. As partners, they fill in each other’s gaps. According to Gostick, “You have to have a foil. In both work and life.” The best partnerships offset. What Are the 3 Apps Adrian Can’t Live Without? FlyDelta, Weather Channel, and the game Wings of Fire. Shout-outs and Shameless Plugs!
